What finishing 30 books in six months taught me

Though reading has accompanied me since childhood, there is still a lot to learn about and from this timeless activity. Beginning this year, I was entertained, amazed, aggravated, and educated by a long list of outstanding authors, each proficient in their field: Tara Westover, Ryan Holiday, Peter Sims, Barbara Oakley, Cal Newport, Carl Honoré, Frédéric Gros — these are some of the names that reside on my crowded reading table.
